Always a Twist

About Me

canvasIt’s simple, food is my world and the kitchen is my comfort.

I’m a Scientist by day, but cooking is my true passion.  I see the kitchen as my creative canvas where I can express my appetite for flavors and ingredients.  It may sound bizarre, but I find myself unwinding from the typical day as I stare into my refridgerator wondering what ingredients I’ll bring together into a mouth watering dish.  I even get excited going to go grocery shopping, and I especially love going to new stores and trying new items!

I have loved everything culinary since I was little.  I would cook for my family and find such happiness in serving up a delicious dish.  My world revolves around bringing flavors together into my own unique twist.  My cooking style tends to be heavily influenced by incorporating lots of ingredients – Please don’t shy away or be intimidated!  You can always 86 (remove) anything from my recipes!  Challenge yourself and have some fun.  I hope you find something that you can bring to your table!

My motto:  Life is an adventure… Just make sure it’s tasty!  Eat everything delicious!
